Latin Pop

Combines elements of Latin American music with mainstream pop music. It is characterized by catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms, and lyrics in Spanish or Portuguese.

Latin pop has its roots in the 1950s and 1960s, but was popularized in the 1990's with artists like Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Enrique Iglesias

Korean Pop

Combines elements of Trot music with various elements of western music, with a focus on the choreography and visual aspects of performance.

K-pop, emerged in the 1990s and reached regional and global recognition in the early 2000s and 2010s

  • ​includes upbeat pop, dance music, and ballads

  • lyrical themes include love, self-empowerment, fantasy, and social issues.

  • incorporates elements of traditional Korean music (like Gugak and Trot), pop, hip-hop, RnB, EDM, Latin music, etc.
